My 1 to 1 Wildlife photography workshops are geared around specific species of birds or animals to allow us to guarantee success on the day and what you, personally, want to get out of the day. We can cover all technical aspects of Wildlife and Nature photography including camera settings and lens choices aswell as important compositional aspects which can turn a record shot into a fine art wildlife photograph . The full day workshop will be tailored to ensure you get the most out of your experience day regardless of your experience level or what equipment you have.

Depending on the time of year, this workshop could encompass Kingfisher, Sparrowhawk, Puffins, Gannets, Deer etc at various locations.

The Details

There are 2 workshops available

Wildlife Workshop - £450

Wildlife Hide workshop - £550

and they includes the following:-

6-10 hours of photography depending on time of year and weather conditions, all hide costs or boat hire (Farne Islands) if applicable and a restaurant / pub meal (depending on location) at the end of the day including one drink.

The extra cost of this one2one hide workshop is to cover the cost of the exclusive use of the hide for the day. There will be no one else there apart from the two of us which gives us ultimate freedom.

The day will start when we meet at a predetermined point and end when i drop you off after hopefully a long and enjoyable day. If we are in a hide for the day then i will set my camera equipment up alongside yours but will not take any photos until you are happy with your setup etc. If we are out in the open for the day such as for the Gannets then i will not bring my equipment along and will assist in carrying your bags if required. (unless you say otherwise)

Due to the nature of this type of photography, can i advise that a 300mm lens should be considered the minimum although, if you contact me, after booking, we can discuss your options for where we are going on the day.

Note if travelling from a distance, local accommodation can be arranged for the night before and also the following night, if required, on your behalf at additional cost. We can then meet at the hotel on the morning.
